TRANSFER RUMOURS

25 Apr 2007 -- With the salvation in the pocket, Deportivo can start to prepare the next season with calmness. President Lendoiro admitted after the win over Osasuna that the club has started to make its movements, although he didn't want to confirm any names. The latest rumour appoints to Bojan Krkic as a possible target of the Galicians, while Arizmendi seems to be between Atlético Madrid and Valencia.

It's very difficult to know the kind of players that Deportivo will sign for the next season. The possible arrival of a new investor plus the probable exits of coach Caparrós and president Lendoiro are enough reasons for these doubts. However, the club has started to make some movements. One of the latest is for Bojan Krkic Pérez (16).

Alongside Giovani Dos Santos, this teenager has been appointed as the future star of Barcelona. He is the son of an ex-Serbian player that's currently a Barcelona's scout. Bojan has broken all the scoring records in the young teams of Barcelona since his arrival to the club. His average of goals scored is of 3.5 per match, an impressive mark even in this category. The problem in the Catalan club is that Barcelona B is near to be relegated to Tercera, if that happens, Barcelona's authorities will negotiate the loan of this young talent because they want to see him progressing.

Here's where Deportivo enters in the scene. The Catalan paper Sport wrote that Depor's officials already asked for Bojan, their intention is to obtain a loan spell or a transfer with a re-buy option, his incorporation could be a part of the deal for the transfer of Jorge Andrade to the Catalan squad. But Sport affirms that it will be difficult to happen, especially if Depor is searching for a transfer. As was said previously, Bojan is considered as the future of Barcelona and he was even called for the U-17 squad in Spain when he was only 15-year-old. Other clubs like Ajax are also interested in Bojan and it seems that the battle for him will be tough.

Meanwhile, it has been known that Javier Arizmendi is the reason of a new battle between Valencia and Atlético Madrid. These two clubs are currently fighting for Raúl García, the midfielder of Osasuna. And now both clubs are pushing for Arizmendi. Newspaper Las Provincias has been writing in the last days about the interest of Valencia in the Madrilian striker.

According to this source, Manuel García Quilón (Arizmendi's agent) has already admitted the interest of Valencia in the striker, but the problem for them is that Atlético Madrid has a re-buyout option of €3 million that they want to fulfil during the summer. If Valencia wants to sign Arizmendi, they will have to negotiate with Atlético Madrid. To make things worse, a clause in Arizmendi's contract says that the Madrilian could only return to Atlético in order to be part of the first squad during the following season, he can't be sold to another club, not without Depor receiving a economic compensation for it.

Las Provincias wrote that despite the tangle of contract stipulations and clauses, Valencia is optimistic about the possibility of signing Arizmendi for the next season. The same player said to this paper that he will go "to any place that his agent decides" although he said that he want to focus his efforts in ending the current campaign in the best possible way.

So...it seems that there will be another battle between Valencia and Atlético Madrid,
for our striker Arizmendi. I have no idea why Valencia needs Arizmendi,
If they really sigh him, which position do they want  him to play?
But still, Valencia has to negotiate with Atlético Madrid for Arizmendi's deal,
not only with Depor because Atlético Madrid has a rebuyout right on him.

And I don't know who our target is, a young player now playing in Barcelona.
But looks like he's the future of Barcelona, little possibility for Depor to get him.
