RUMOURS, RUMOURS AND MORE RUMOURS...

03 May 2007 -- It’s been a very busy week concerning transfer rumours: Andrade to Real Madrid, Arizmendi to Valencia, Coloccini to Portsmouth, and Manú Del Moral, Javi García and Trashorras to Depor. Even a possible renewal for Aldo Duscher seems possible for the papers.

It seems that these days, the most important case for Lendoiro is Jorge Andrade. The Portuguese defender continues to be targeted by Barcelona and Real Madrid. The latest rumour links him with Madrid. Associated Press reports that president Lendoiro is continuing to negotiate his possible departure to Real Madrid.

According to this source, Lendoiro is trying to arrange an exchange: Andrade for three promising Real Madrid youngsters: Rubén de la Red (21), Javi García (20) and Roberto Soldado (21). De la Red is a midfielder who is known for his vision. He has played seven Liga games with Real Madrid's first squad, and is unhappy about it. De la Red was almost transferred to Zaragoza in January, but Capello cancelled the deal.

Javi García is also a defensive midfielder. He has played 20 matches with Real Madrid Castilla in the Segunda this season and has also scored a goal. Soldado is a very well known to the fans. He has scored 8 goals in 24 Liga matches after he was loaned out to Osasuna. The Madrilian striker has also scored one goal in the UEFA Cup, and it was an important one since it was against Sevilla in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, a Valencian paper, Superdeporte, wrote that Javier Arizmendi’s transfer to Valencia is almost complete. According to this source, Quique Sánchez Flores wants to use Arizmendi as a right winger. He would replace Jorge López and Angulo in that function. Valencia is ready to pay €7 million for the transfer. Part of this amount would be for Atlético Madrid, who have the option to buy back the player in the summer for €3 million. Superdeporte also speculates that Depor could receive more money and even a new loan period over Fabián Estoyanoff.

But Marca has written that the operation is more complex. According to this source, Atlético Madrid, Valencia and Deportivo will engage in a triple operation consisting of the exchange of three players. Arizmendi would go to Valencia, while Regueiro would join Atlético and Manú del Moral (23) would come to Deportivo. Del Moral is a striker who was transferred to Getafe at the beginning of the season, but Atlético has a buyout option that they could fulfill this summer. Manú has scored 5 goals in 24 Liga matches with Getafe.

Another player who could be out the door this the summer is Fabricio Coloccini. The Argentine is being followed by Portsmouth. According to the English paper Sunday People, the coach of the Premiership club, Harry Redknapp, is requesting his arrival. The same source claims that Pompey is ready to offer €6 million for Coloccini.

Meanwhile, Roberto Trashorras (26) has been mentioned as a possible target for Deportivo. The Galician midfielder played for Barcelona and Real Madrid’s youth teams. He is currently performing with UD Las Palmas in the Segunda. According to several sources, he will be free during the summer if Las Palmas gets relegated to Segunda B, and Depor might try to sign him if that happens. Currently, Las Palmas is 17th in the table, 3 points away from the relegation zone.

Finally, El Ideal Gallego spoke to Aldo Duscher’s father, who is also his agent. Apparently the Argentine hasn't signed for another club yet, and he is keeping an open mind to negotiate with Lendorio. "I hope to be able to see the game (against Valencia), but if not I will be there the next week. We are working to obtain the best thing for Aldo. We still have to analyze the proposals and take a decision. We will have a meeting with the Deportivo president, but I don't know if we will reach an agreement or not."
